Would you like to join our growing team? It is simple, straighforward and easy to join. There are no tests or requirements in our process. We feel that everyone should have an equal opportunity to participate in having fun, so we haven't made it difficult to become a part of our team. Virtual WestJet continously strives to become a virtual airline that is exciting, inspiring and just plain comfortable to fly with. We like everyone in our virtual airline to actively take part, and we hope you do the same.
Building a solid team that wants to accumulate hours and add to the rich environment we create, especially on VATSIM, is no easy task. Along with your help, it is possible to achieve this goal. Although we do not require you to fly on VATSIM, we encourage you to give it a try. If your not yet a member of Vatsim—before you apply at Virtual WestJet—goto VATSIM.net and grab a unique ID. It is now required for signing up, but you are not required to fly online.
One other note to keep in mind is to fly within a month of joining. You would think our members would be crazy not to fly as soon as they signed up! Alas, sometimes they get distracted. Our roster is expanding but we like to keep it as efficient as possible for our loyal members. That said, we give the proverbial "boot" to members who haven't been able to fly within 30 days. Of course, if this happens to you for some reason, don't fret. Just re-apply and we'll put you back on the roster.
Take Part.
Don't just sit back once you join. Get into the flight deck and start taking part. Fly online, or communicate with us in the forums. There's plenty of things to do around here.
